Nucleus holds collections from both the UK civil nuclear industry and the county of Caithness. Public nuclear records are in the process of being catalogued and this page will host our searchable catalogue when ready.
The nuclear archive
Nuclear records from across the NDA estate are currently being transferred and indexed. Access to nuclear documents will become available over time and the collections page will be updated as more records become available. In the meantime, visitors are warmly welcomed to the public searchroom and documents can be requested electronically.
Caithness archive
You can access the Caithness archives online, including the Wick Society collection, the records of the Wick Harbour Trust, and parish records of poor relief from Caithness County Council 1720 – 1975.
